New CD's - Now available on our Bandcamp!

August 12, 2024 Blues Weiser 2024newcd, CampfireEXP, CD, live&loud, Merchandise

Now available on our Bandcamp!

After we released all the Live n Loud albums digitally, We looked at some of the photos taken from those gigs and some of the art we already made, meaning the front covers. And we felt that we should make them into full-fledged Albums with a 4-page booklet and some custom hand made art created by Nina, who painted the awesome under-CD art. So here are the physical versions of our latest live albums.

A must-have for anyone who still uses CDs. I know we do, and we will keep doing so. There is nothing greater than having art on your headphones and art in your hands to read through. I think it's safe to say that holding your phone is not the same. I hope you enjoy our new physical releases.

Greetings and love from Blues Weiser.

Live CD's front covers designed by Jozz:

Live CD's inlay's designed by Nina:

I'm excited to share that my art has been featured in a real project for the first time! I’m really proud of the CD inlays I created for our band's new live album set @blues.weiser—they turned out beautifully!

I created the artwork using watercolors on paper and then captured a photo to fit it into the template with Photoshop.

If you're interested, we still have some copies available for just €5 each. Each CD comes in a maxi-tray with a 4-page booklet and a double-sided back cover.

Feel free to visit our BandCamp to order one or more of these limited edition physical CDs! https://blues-weiser.bandcamp.com/merch

Unplugged Live at Bar Central, Calpe - video's on youtube! Playlist

August 12, 2024 Nina VKL CampfireEXP, video

As we played the Unplugged concert in 2023 in Bar central Calpe we aimed to record the complete show with a live release in mind. We were lucky that the audience filmed it so we could incorporate that in the videos we are releasing of that show.

After mixing, we've released the unplugged album 31st of March on Bandcamp and on all other streaming platforms (including YouTube) on the 8th of August.

Paul, the owner of Bar Central, always films all the gigs that take place in bar central. So with his material and some snippets of the audience we could make a video for every song on the album!

So, for all of you that couldn't be there, we have some great news! We will release a video every Wednesday evening at 7p.m. (GMT +2) until the full show is uploaded on the 2nd of October.

Watch all the video's as they will appear in the playlist on youtube:

Right now there is already one video uploaded, "Ain't Nothing I Own" you can watch it here, or click on it to go to YouTube:

GIG 22-07-2023 Blues Weiser Campfire Experience @ Bar Central, Calpe

July 22, 2023 Nina VKL CampfireEXP, GIG

We played our first gig with Nina on the bass and Mike back in action after his accident in July last year (2020)

We actually planned to have our first gig in Gandía Next week, but Paul asked us 2 weeks ago if we could fill in and do an acoustic gig, so we decided to help him out and accepted the challenge!

We rewrote some live and loud songs and added 7(!) new songs to the set...

Here are some photo's of the night:

By the way, we filmed and recorded all audio so we are likely to release some of this material in the future!

Cheers, Nina

Blues Weiser Campfire Experience (started 26-07-2014)

August 26, 2016 Nina VKL CampfireEXP

We started an acoustic format started in July 2014, after the drummer of the band left.

While looking for a new drummer, we (Jozz and Bobysan) needed to keep performing live, and who doesn't want to earn an extra buck.

We started writing new songs and learning some covers, that we ofcourse gave our personal touch to (no, not the covers that all these coverbands play like "smoke on the water or high way to hell...)

The idea was to create a "campfire experience" where people would enjoy the music, but with a campfire family like feeling.

Soon we were invited to private parties and started playing in gardens, living rooms, terraces etc.

For those of you who don't know, Jozz and Bobysan have been playing together for over 7 years, in Floodstain so they could understand each other completely while playing. Therefor we were able to create a different atmosphere at every show.

After Alex joined Blues Weiser he was able to add the Cajon to the music. A perfect instrument to provide a solid rhythm aswell as a Latin touch.

Check out this acoustic cover of Eels' "Novocaine" live recorded in Almería

The Blues Weiser Campfire Experience has grown into a band that is really active, and when Blues Weiser goes on tour we can offer both an electric and an acoustic gig, which of course makes it easier to fill empty dates.

UPDATE 2024:

To listen to the purest form of Blues Weiser, they released an Unplugged live album on September 12, 2023, check it out on bandcamp via this link: Unplugged Live @ Bar Central 2023
