Making-of the video: The Fortune Teller

What a stunning view from the spot where we'll be filming!

We used a really long cable so we could hear the music for the video while we were out in the field.

Setting up...

More setting up...

Here's the drummer's view!

Everything’s ready... now all we do is wait!
We were just hanging out, waiting for the sun to go down...
We wanted the perfect vibe for our video!

Nina, Desy, and Carlos are part of the film team, and they’re with Bob.

On the left: Mike and his girlfriend Dyana, who was also on the film crew, along with Jozz.

On the right: Willem is the guy who lets us use the practice room!
He also made sure we had electricity for this video and came by to see if we were doing okay.

Hey Jozz, let's go!

Bob is looking at where the cameras are set up because he’s going to edit the video.
He wants to make sure everything is captured from the best viewpoint.

Then we kick things off and have a blast! And we just rock it out!

This is the feeling we wanted!!!

The amp is super eager and can't wait until the video is done!

GIG 04-07-2020 Live & Loud @ Calpe, released on CD!!

This gig was a weird one, it was the first gig after the 1st Covid lockdown in Spain. People were really excited seeing some live music, but they still needed to remain seated.

We were planning on doing a livestream, but it didn't really work out that night, so instead we decided to release the songs as a digital CD on our Bandcamp instead:

Check out the live cd on our bandcamp to have a listen:

We opened the show tith Environmental Impact of Aviation, of of the album "Obey the Booze" which was not even released yet! Then some oldies with Be Careful What You Wish For and Ain't Nothing I Own, both from our first record "Booze for Blues."
We followed up with 4 brand new songs: Loose Lips, Echoes of Oblivion, No Input Signal and Clit Eastwood. The people really liked these new songs as we could tell from their enthousiastic faces!
Then 2 more golden classics with Heavy on the Witch and Guardrail Cruiser, you can never go wrong with these songs live!
We ended the show with the epic Void Catcher, a bit darker than our ususal songs but oh so real in these pandemic times!

We put the photos of that night, that were taken by Dayana, on our Facebook page:

But, since not everyone has Facebook, and because we never know if the future has Facebook, we put them here for you to enjoy as well.

Just click the first photo to get a big one, and then you can click through to see them all!

Love,
Blues Weiser

PS.
This post is written by Nina 10th of january 2025.
We post it at the gig date however, in order to keep track of time.
Because of all the changes we as a band went through, it is more clearer this way.
