News about recording extra tracks

NEWS ABOUT RECORDING THE EXTRA TRACKS THAT WILL BE RELEASED ON BLUES WEISER BOOZE FOR BLUES GOLDEN EDITION

Hi there here's some news on whats going on...in the Blues weiser world.

First we are all waiting patiently and with excitement for our new video that was so much fun to make...Omg
it was nuts....more info on release ...soon

second i managed to steal everyone's time for while and grabbed all the gear i needed to record some of the new tracks for the gold edition.

We moved the gear to bobysans parental home and set up in there big garage....we set up the mics and it sounded fckn amazing......and started recording....cold hands showed a challenge for lee as it was fckn cold in the garage and raining outside ...dino the giant dog of bobysans parents kept an eye on the progress...

Denys was running around capturing all the glory and imperfections of recording stuff lol and i was still in pijama...so fancy right!!!

we recorded three tracks :Deathride and deja vu written by mr Lee lento himself...and changed in blues weiser band form....the cold insisted to stay a burden to the guitars tuning so OMG one song ended in standard tuning what blasphemy.....but wel it worked.

I recorded a new song called: cross your heart and hope to die
but that recording went fast as we practiced it few times before...actual recording....

i used a lot of room for the drums and used the reflections of the room to calculate the natural reverb and freqs.

the songs were recorded 28 nov 2016 around 10 30 we finished building up and started recording.
we finished around 1500\1600.
and planned another day for tracking more guitars...

So the next day Lee came to my little studio to track guitars....29nov2016
See set up here...

and Lee tracking

we tracked guitars that day and choose another date to do the next session.
the next day i woke up and started tracking my parts per song..

I used the marshall and vox and kustom trough the recordings every amp for a special reason.

I tracked with my trusty jaguar and les paul...but used LEE's fender Strat for some of the solos awesome sound..

I even used my ampeg dan Armstrong with the drop A string for some parts and surprises...

And i have also finished all guitar tracks and keyboards and background noises for the song

Well that's some info for ya soon more....and also probably a making of video...
greetings jozz

but we found a new one and will sound proof that one soon so we continue recording writing ect...to soon release new material.

theres a new video on the way so keep our eyes peeled..

the album booze for blues is sold out and we hope soon to re release the gold edition of that album

Blues Weiser Campfire Experience (started 26-07-2014)

We started an acoustic format started in July 2014, after the drummer of the band left.

While looking for a new drummer, we (Jozz and Bobysan) needed to keep performing live, and who doesn't want to earn an extra buck.

We started writing new songs and learning some covers, that we ofcourse gave our personal touch to (no, not the covers that all these coverbands play like "smoke on the water or high way to hell...)

The idea was to create a "campfire experience" where people would enjoy the music, but with a campfire family like feeling.

Soon we were invited to private parties and started playing in gardens, living rooms, terraces etc.

For those of you who don't know, Jozz and Bobysan have been playing together for over 7 years, in Floodstain so they could understand each other completely while playing. Therefor we were able to create a different atmosphere at every show.

After Alex joined Blues Weiser he was able to add the Cajon to the music. A perfect instrument to provide a solid rhythm aswell as a Latin touch.

Check out this acoustic cover of Eels' "Novocaine" live recorded in Almería

The Blues Weiser Campfire Experience has grown into a band that is really active, and when Blues Weiser goes on tour we can offer both an electric and an acoustic gig, which of course makes it easier to fill empty dates.

UPDATE 2024:

To listen to the purest form of Blues Weiser, they released an Unplugged live album on September 12, 2023, check it out on bandcamp via this link: Unplugged Live @ Bar Central 2023
